While last holiday weekend was chock-full of throwback uniforms, this Sunday’s NFL schedule mostly features teams in their standard home and road uniforms.
The Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans are the only exceptions, however, as they’ll be wearing their black alternate uniforms and light blue alternate jerseys when they host the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars, respectively.
This marks the third appearance for the Cardinals’ black uniforms this season, joining their 20-13 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sept. 22 and 17-15 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 21, which improved their record in the uniforms to 1-3 since they were unveiled in 2023.
The Titans, meanwhile, will wear their light blue jerseys for the second time this season, joining a 30-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 22. They were notably shelved last season to make room for their Houston Oilers throwback uniforms, which will be worn against the Houston Texans on Jan. 5.
Other notable uniform-related notes for Sunday include the Carolina Panthers wearing Process blue pants on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Miami Dolphins once again wearing white at home when they host the New York Jets.
The Panthers are 0-4 in Process blue pants this season, including a 40-7 loss at the Washington Commanders on Oct. 20, when they paired them with their white road jerseys. The only difference between what they wore that afternoon and what they’ll wear on Sunday is the socks (Process blue vs white on Sunday).
The Dolphins, meanwhile, are 3-1 in all-white uniforms this season, including a 20-17 win over the Jaguars on Sept. 8, a 28-27 loss to the Cardinals on Oct. 27, a 34-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 17 and a 34-15 win over the New England Patriots on Nov. 24.
The weekend will end with the Dallas Cowboys in their “Arctic Cowboy” Color Rush uniforms against when they host the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. We’ll have a separate post dedicated to that uniform matchup that afternoon.
