Cleveland Browns Once Again Soliciting Fan Input For Field Design – SportsLogos.Net News

For the third year in a row, the Cleveland Browns are asking fans to choose the field design that will be used at Cleveland Browns Stadium this season.

First among the three options is the design that has graced the field for the last two seasons, with Brownie the Elf at midfield and a white Browns wordmark outlined in orange in both end zones.

The wordmark was initially flanked by the AFC mark and a side view of Cleveland’s orange helmets in 2022, but the latter was changed to the team’s primary logo last season.

Brownie notably featured camouflage accents during the Browns’ annual Salute to Service games in 2022-23, while he and the helmets were painted white to match Cleveland’s white alternate helmets in 2023.

Of course, another slight change will occur if this option is ultimately chosen again, as the Browns switched from brown to white facemasks this offseason and updated their primary logo to reflect that.

The second option places Cleveland’s primary logo at midfield and Brownie in the end zones, while the third option prominently features the Dawg Pound logo at the 50-yard line and the helmet in the end zones.

The Dawg Pound logo, which was created by graphic designer Houston Mark, was chosen over 400 other entries as part of a fan vote last summer. It has only been used on merchandise and social media thus far.

Fans can cast their vote for the new field design through Aug. 8. It’s unclear when the winning design will be revealed, though it will make its debut when the Browns host the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 8 (4:25 p.m. ET on FOX).
