Although they won’t be officially unveiled for another month or so, every NBA City Edition and Classic Edition jersey for the 2024-25 season was leaked on social media on Tuesday evening.

The retail photos, which SportsLogos.net can confirm are legitimate, were all posted by @EldenMonitors on X, formerly known as Twitter. Some designs were previously leaked, while others have not been seen before.

We’ve included photos of every City jersey – which are missing player numbers on the front – below, as well as the four Classic designs that will debut this season. We’ve also attempted to decipher the meaning behind each design below.

City Edition

Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks’ jersey is effectively the home version of last year’s City design, with light blue accents that pay homage to their time in St. Louis from 1965-70 and a slanted wordmark inspired by their 1982-92 and 1992-95 sets.

Boston Celtics

Like last year’s City design, the Celtics’ jersey features a woven side panel inspired by the peach baskets originally used in the sport, but it comes in a new black, green and lime green colorway.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have once again partnered with Brooklyn-based artist KAWS, whose abstract painting style inspired last year’s black, white, gray, teal, blue and red City Edition set. This time, though, the colors are restricted to the “Brooklyn” wordmark.

Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets’ jersey closely resembles their 2020-21 City set, with a mint base and gold and black pinstripes, but swaps the “Buzz City” wordmark for “Charlotte” across the chest.

Chicago Bulls

After paying homage to Chicago Stadium last year, the Bulls are celebrating the 30th anniversary of United Center with this season’s City design, which includes bronze accents that appear to homage to the Michael Jordan statue in the concourse.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The light blue Cavaliers jersey is a nod to their 1994-2003 colorway and includes “The Land” across the chest, just like their 2017-18, 2022-23 and 2023-24 City sets. There’s also a unique side panel featuring various logos and wordmarks from the franchise’s history.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks’ jersey is also the home version of last year’s design, which was a nod to signer, songwriter and record producer Leon Bridges. It appears to be completely devoid of color, while the 2023-24 design was black with gray and blue accents.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets’ design once again pays homage to the Mile High City, with the No. 5,280 across the chest. The unique colors and side panel are pulled from an augmented reality sandbox, which projects topographical lines and colors onto the sand.

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons’ design is also the home version of last year’s City set, which was inspired by the “Detroit Bad Boys” shirts that exploded in popularity as they won back-to-back titles 1988-89 and 1989-90.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors’ jerseys are a nod to the Golden Gate Bridge, with the towers acting as side panels and, as sources have indicated, connecting cables on the yet-to-be released shorts.

Houston Rockets

Like last year, the Rockets will once again pay homage to Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler with their City Edition set. This year’s set features a new “H-Town” wordmark and a gold Nike Swoosh, though, which suggests its a nod to their back-to-back titles in 1993-94 and 1994-95.

Indiana Pacers

The Pacers will also wear the home version of last year’s City design, which was black with neon blue and yellow accents inspired by the colorful graffiti and street art on display around the city.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers have swapped their navy blue City set, which was influenced by the 1980s and designed last year by Los Angeles-based artist Jonas Wood, for a light blue version of the same look.

Los Angeles Lakers

The purple-to-black gradient design is undoubtedly the most-unique uniform in Lakers history and prominently displays a “Lake Show” wordmark in their familiar font.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies’ will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ABA’s Memphis Sounds with their City set, which combines the Sounds’ red and white color scheme with the Grizzlies’ current light blue.

Miami Heat

The Heat have essentially flipped the colors on last year’s City set, which prominently displayed a red and white “Heat Culture” wordmark against a black background.

Milwaukee Bucks

For the third straight year, the Bucks will wear a “Great Lakes Blue” City jersey that symbolizes the connection between Lake Michigan and three rivers that run through Milwaukee, while the stripes seem to represent the coast.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves will once again celebrate Minnesota’s nickname of “The Land of 10,000 Lakes,” only this year’s design is predominantly white with a water texture pattern around the shoulders whereas last year’s was mostly blue.

New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans have carried over the Voodoo-like font introduced with last year’s City Edition design, but have leaned into the Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold rather than black with hints of green and purple.

New York Knicks

Like many others, the Knicks’ jersey is the home version of last year’s City design, with a layered “New York, New York” wordmark and subtle pinstripes.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder have restricted the sublimated design that covered last year’s City Edition uniform to the side panels while using the same bold navy blue, orange and gold color scheme. They’ve also swapped the slanted “OKC” wordmark for a state-only version of their “Oklahoma City” wordmark.

Orlando Magic

The Magic will also wear the home version of last year’s design, with a gothic-style wordmark across the chest that has the iconic retro star in place of the “A” – a la their 1989-2003 uniforms – and a textured, pinstriped base.

Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers’ jerseys are also the home version of last year’s City set, which paid homage to the iconic Spectrum, their home from 1967-1996, and includes blue, green, orange and red blocks down the sides that represent the city’s four major sports teams.

Phoenix Suns

The Suns’ jerseys are inspired by the 1995 NBA All-Star Game, specifically the purple uniforms worn by the Eastern Conference, with the star from the game’s logo on the chest and an Aztec pattern down the sides.

Portland Trail Blazers

Portland continues to use the City Edition uniforms to honor legendary coach Jack Ramsay, with a sublimated plaid pattern to match the jackets he wore while leading the franchise to the 1976-77 title. Their 2017-18, 2021-22 and 2023-24 City sets also had plaid accents.

Sacramento Kings

The Kings will once again honor their time as the Cincinnati Royals with their City Edition set, though this year’s design resembles their 1963-67 road look while last year’s was similar to their 1967-71 uniforms.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs’ jersey looks very similar to last year’s design, which celebrated the 55th anniversary of HemisFair ’68 (also known as the 1968 World’s Fair or International Exposition), but it includes a black wordmark with orange, peach and brown accents.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors will honor 2024 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Vince Carter and his legendary performance in the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest with this year’s City Edition uniform.

Utah Jazz

The Jazz actually revealed their new City Edition uniforms in June as part of their two-year rollout of new uniforms. It features a slanted “Utah” wordmark in front of white and light blue mountains, reminiscent of their 1996-2004 design

Washington Wizards

The Wizards’ jersey is the home version of their 2023-24 City set, which was inspired by the stones that mark the original boundary to the District of Columbia. It no longer features a black, red, copper and teal color palette, though, which symbolized the oxidized metal fencing and natural flora around the stones.

Classic Edition

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors’ Classic uniform is effectively the home version of their 2021-22 “Origins” design, which celebrated their 75th anniversary and was a modern spin on their 1961-62 road uniform, worn during their final season in Philadelphia.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies will also celebrate their own 30th season this year by wearing their original Vancouver Grizzlies home uniforms in select games this winter. They previously wore the turquoise road version in 2019-20.

Sacramento Kings

The Kings will celebrate their 40th season in Sacramento with their Classic Edition uniforms, which are nearly identical to what they wore on the road from 2002-08. The full uniforms were unveiled earlier this week.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors, who are also celebrating their 30th season this year, will wear Classic Edition uniforms inspired by their road look from 1999-2006. The raptor on their City Edition set is also wearing this uniform with Carter’s No. 15.
