New NWSL Team in Boston to Be Known As ‘BOS Nation FC’ – SportsLogos.Net News

The new National Women’s Soccer League team in Boston

The expansion franchise, set to debut in 2026, announced their name and logo on CBS Morning Plus on Tuesday, October 15. They’ll be known as BOS Nation Football Club, with team officials noting that the first part of the name can be rearranged to spell “Bostonian.”

“It starts with ‘Bostonian’ — those nine letters that make up that word are so meaningful to those of us that come from there,” controlling owner Jennifer Epstein told CBS. “When you rearrange those letters you get BOS Nation, and that was very intentional. This team is fan-centric, fans first, and our new identity is made up of the diverse communities that live in our strong city and have a love — or will soon have a love — of the beautiful game.”

The team also unveiled two logos on Tuesday, both of which use a color scheme of green and black with pink accents. The first features “BOS NATION” spelled out in a serif font on a black background, with “BOS” in white, “NATION” in green and a pink star in between, along with “FOOTBALL CLUB” in white underneath. The second has “BOS” and the star above “NATION”, with “F” on the left side and “C” on the right.

We are BOS Nation. Unified not only by our similarities, but also our differences. Brought together by our love for the beautiful game. Now in this beautiful city we hold so dear.

Kits were not unveiled as part of Tuesday’s announcement. But a full line of merchandise is available on the team’s website.

BOS Nation FC will become the NWSL’s 15th team when they begin play in the 2026 season. They’ll play their home games at White Stadium, a 10,519-seat facility in historic Franklin Park that recently underwent a $30-million renovation. The team’s ownership group includes Hollywood actor/producer/director Elizabeth Banks and Team USA Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman.
