The Utah Jazz unveiled four new uniforms on Wednesday afternoon as part of a two-season transition that will once again put mountains and the color purple at the forefront of their branding.

“Our branding will always be an iterative process as we, our fanbase and the game of basketball continue to grow,” team owner Ryan Smith said. “It’s clear that Mountain Basketball and purple are at the soul of Utah and the Jazz, and we’re excited to share with our community what they have to look forward to.”

The Jazz will be outfitted in their current Association and Statement Edition uniforms, which were introduced in 2022 and feature a highlighter yellow and black color scheme, to begin the 2024-25 season.

However, the Statement uniform will be replaced on Jan. 1 by another black design that prominently displays the Jazz Note logo on the chest with mountains in the background and purple and light blue accents on the collar and side panels.

This season’s set will be complete with a new purple City Edition uniform, which features a slanted “Utah” wordmark in front of white and light blue mountains, reminiscent of their 1996-2004 design

The side panels on both the new Statement and City Edition uniforms are also a callback to the Jazz’s 2016-22 and 2022-25 designs, which featured a truncated design on the jersey and shorts.

While the City Edition uniform will be replaced by a new look the following season, the Statement set will remain part of Utah’s rotation in 2025-26, when it will be joined by new white Association and purple Icon Edition designs.

These uniforms take their cues from the Jazz’s 2023-24 City Edition design, with a modernized gradient mountain range across the chest and on the right leg of the asymmetrical shorts but add light blue and black accents throughout.

In addition to the new uniforms, Utah’s logos will be updated to reflect the new color scheme, which blends the purple from their 1996-04 design with the light blue era of 2004-10. They’ll also unveil new court designs ahead of next season.
