Google Pixel Watch 3 passes through the FCC in two sizes

The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to be unveiled by Google at its hardware launch event on August 13, and ahead of that it’s now been certified by the FCC. This process has included both the Watch 3 and the bigger Watch 3 XL – for the first time, this year Google will offer two size options.

The smaller one is expected to be 41mm, with the larger model being 45mm. There will be LTE-capable models, and the Pixel Watch 3 will support UWB too. Of course, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC are on board as well.

These are all the details that have been revealed through this certification. With it happening now, the Pixel Watch 3 is definitely on track to be unveiled and go on sale next month.

Previously leaked renders showed the Pixel Watch 3 will employ a very similar design to the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2. The 41mm Pixel Watch 3 is expected to sport a 307 mAh battery, which hilariously is exactly 1 mAh larger than the Pixel Watch 2’s.
