Overwatch 2 is Coming to Xbox Game Pass – News

Get ready to gear up, Heroes! Overwatch 2 will be dropping into Xbox Game Pass on September 17, and you won’t want to miss it. Link your Battle.net account to an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or PC Game Pass account by November 11 and log back in to unlock a cache of exclusive benefits that will elevate your Overwatch 2 cosmetics to new heights. Read on to learn more about what’s in store for linked accounts.

Starting on September 17, when you link your accounts, you’ll score six of the slickest hero skins on the battlefield: Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver. If you link your accounts by November 11, these noteworthy skins will be yours to keep and alongside them, you’ll also receive a one-time bonus of 30 Mythic Prisms. Use these Mythic Prisms to snag Mythic Shop cosmetics and upgrades to suit your style.

But wait, there’s more! With your active Xbox Game Pass account linked, you’ll gain access to select Overwatch 2 Shop cosmetics from the past three seasons*. You will have access to an awesome collection that updates with each new season, allowing you to relive the freshest styles and equip your heroes with some of the coolest cosmetics from recent history. The perks don’t stop there – you’ll also be able to supercharge your progression with an additional 10% XP boost! Whether you’re powering through your Battle Pass or climbing the competitive ranks, this boost stacks on top of all others, helping you achieve your goals faster and reap your rewards quicker. These rewards will remain active as long as you keep your accounts linked and maintain a subscription to one of the eligible Xbox Game Pass account tiers.

How to Link Accounts

  1. Navigate to your Battle.net Account Connections page.
  2. Next to Xbox Network, make sure the Xbox Account with your eligible Game Pass subscription is listed.
    • If the correct account is linked, you are good to go!

  3. If no account is listed, click the +Connect button to initiate the linking process
    • Ensure you are linking the correct account; account links have cooldowns limiting how often they can be changed. Customer Support cannot assist with bypassing cooldowns on linking accounts.

  4. If the wrong Xbox Account is listed and it has been more than 1-year since the accounts were linked:
    1. Click Disconnect
    2. Click +Connect to initiate the linking process for the correct Xbox Account

  5. If the wrong Xbox Account is listed and the link cooldown has not yet expired, you will need to use a new or different Battle.net Account to link to your Xbox Account.

Mark your calendars and link your account by November 11 to dive into these extraordinary rewards. Stay tuned for more intel as we approach midseason. But until then, link your account today and prepare for glory!

*Continuous access to Overwatch Shop content excludes select cosmetics, including Battle Pass, Collab, Mythic, Charity, BlizzCon, and other Promotional content.
