Samsung’s Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic are now receiving the update to One UI 6 Watch based on Wear OS 5, following a lengthy months-long beta testing period. With the stable release, today the beta program has ended.
Those who participated in the One UI 6 Watch beta program will get the stable update first, in the US and Korea (which are the only markets where the beta program was available). The update comes in at 136MB and includes the October security patch level. It will spread to the Galaxy Watch5 family and the Galaxy Watch4 series soon.
One UI 6 Watch made its debut with the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra back in July. It comes with redesigned Quick Panel and notification cards, a new font, the Double Pinch action, a touch-sensitive Always-on Display, and improved Samsung Health features with the AI-powered Energy Score.
