Samsung’s oft-rumored Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, known until very recently as Galaxy Z Fold Slim or Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, will actually have S Pen support, according to a new rumor today.
This contradicts a previous rumor which claimed it wouldn’t support Samsung’s stylus. Of course, we can’t vouch for the validity of either of these rumors, so do take both of them with a grain of salt.
Also, keep in mind that supporting the S Pen, if it does pan out, won’t mean that the phone will have a dedicated internal slot for the stylus, just that you will be able to use it on the device – in the same way as you can on the Galaxy Z Fold6.
Unfortunately a foldable like these simply doesn’t have enough internal space to allow for the integration of the S Pen in the way the S24 Ultra can. Or rather, if that were to happen, either the battery capacity would go way down or the phone’s size would go way up – or both.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a 200 MP main camera, and it will be just 4.9 mm thick when unfolded and 10.6 mm thick when folded. Its inner screen will be 8″, the cover display 6.5″.
